Bactione Instruments 5L GMS

Bactione Instruments from GMS is a concentrated solution formulated for the cleaning and soaking disinfection of dental instruments and non-invasive medical devices. This product is used in an immersion tank after dilution in water to eliminate organic soils and treat the instrumentation before subsequent sterilisation steps in the dental practice. The working protocol requires a dilution of 20 ml of concentrated solution per litre of water, which corresponds to a 2% concentration. The required contact time is 15 minutes under complete immersion. The chemical formulation combines benzalkonium chloride, isopropyl alcohol, and non-ionic surfactants, delivering a broad spectrum of bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal activity without risk of corrosion to metallic equipment. After the immersion period, instruments must be brushed, rinsed thoroughly under running water, and completely dried. The prepared soaking bath must be renewed after each operating use. The 5-litre container should be kept tightly closed in a ventilated storage area at a temperature between +5 °C and +35 °C.
